Chateau Suau Cuvee Prestige 2000

  • Area: France, Bordeaux
  • Grape: 40% Cab Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 30% Cab Franc
  • Alcohol: 12.5%
  • Rating: Black; 93 Dilettante; 92 NWJR; 91

Description: This is classic Bordeaux with length, structure and
elegance. On the nose, dark tones of oak, plum and leather are highlighted by purple flowers of lilac and violet. On the palate it has flavors of light spice, plum, lavender and dark current. The acidity and tannins are well balanced leading to a long and elegant finish. For a lighter bodied wine, there's a lot going on here. We really like this one. Do not decant.
Food Pairing: Turkey, Tarragon Roasted Chicken, Chateaubriand
TV Pairing: The Mole, Movies such as American Beauty, Goldfinger
Musical Pairing: Schubert, Emily Simone, Edith Piaf
