Description: On the nose there are elements of green pepper, oak, red plums and red currant. Food enhancing flavors of roasted nuts, vanilla, red fruits, tobacco and spice are full and bright in the mouth. The finish is quite dry and bit weak. This wine is top heavy, meaning the red current nearly drowns out the rest of the flavors. We preferred the 01 over the 03. The differences in the vintages are very noticeable. Decanting for a while softens this out.Price: $18
