Bodega Lurton Reserva 2006

  • Area: Argentina, Mendoza
  • Grape: Malbec
  • Alcohol: 13.5%
  • Rating: Black 89, Dilettante 91, Nwjr 92
Description: The 2005 vintage is very much like the 2006. The nose has aromas of dark plums/prune, violets, burning leaves and a hint of buttered popcorn. Full and meaty in the mouth, this wine abounds with bold flavors of oak, dark fruit and spice. A replacement bottle always finds its way to our wine rack. We like this one. Decanting not required.

Price: $13
