Description: The intense nose is a blend of mulberry, earth, vanilla and a hint of road tar. On the palate it's fruity and lightly dry with flavors of black current, oak, and spice. The finish has elements of coffee and vanilla. This is an unusual Malbec. It reminded me more of a Cab than anything else. Decanting not required although as it breathes, the flavors noticeably change.
Food Pairing: strong cheese, beef bourguignon
