Santa Cristiana Antinori Sangiovese 2006

Description: Ruby red with purple hues. The nose is floral with hints of cherry. In the mouth it crosses between old world and new world styles. Fruit forward flavors of cherry and berry are nicely accented with burnt cedar wood. The touch of merlot adds a nice low note. The finish is lean and dry. Decanting 45 minutes brings out the fruitiness.
