Hermann J. Wiemer Dry Riesling 2006

  • Area: New York, Finger Lakes, Seneca
  • Grape: Riesling
  • Alcohol: 12.7%
  • Rating: Black; 89 Dilettante; 90 NWJR; 95
Description: The nose is a fruity combination of pineapple, green apple and citrus. In the mouth its soft and lush. Flavors of grapefruit, pineapple and citrus are accented by a very light sweetness with enough acidity to give it interest. All this is orchestrated into a glorious balance of flavor and body. NWJR: "This is one of my two most favored Rieslings."

Food Pairing: This pairs perfectly with spicy hot Asian food
